Facilitator - Chanchal Cabrera |

A woman’s life is marked by the turning of the moon. In
this informative discussion you will learn about the rhythms and tides
of the menstrual cycle, both from month to month and from year to year,
age to age. In this class we will discuss some of the many herbs used to
balance hormones, normalize bleeding, reduce PMS and ensure smooth
menses. Some we will use in an aromatherapy diffuser in the room. Some
we will blend into a tea that we will make and drink together. This
presentation will leave you with a deeper understanding of the delicate interplay of
plants and your body. |

CREATIVE MARKINGS FROM DOWN UNDER |
|
Facilitators -
Bea Lorimer and Odette Warner |
| |
|
Even if you cannot recall the last time you picked up a paint brush,
rest assured that you will delight in reconnecting with your Inner
Tribal Artist.
Long before the dawn of modern civilization, there existed tribes of
nomads who traveled the sacred landscapes of Australia, leaving
behind them a trail of significant markings etched and painted upon
the earth’s skin. These simple, Dream-Time, archetypal patterns
revealed much about the Aboriginal way of life, the roads they
traveled and their connection to the land and its spirits.
In this workshop, you will be taken through a series of warm ups and
see a demo in abstract patterns using a variety of creative
materials. Then, with the aid of your personal Dreaming Spirit Guide
and a playful connection with your fellow ‘Tribes-women’, your
journey in mark-making will be journaled into stories and processed
for Personal Sign- Posts.
Leave
the familiarity of your stress behind and be prepared to skip home
barefoot, with a deepened sense of self design, a map for the unique
tracks you will freely travel and a connection with the sacred power
that naturally fuels your creative journeys. |
